Change Main Greeting

1. To access voice mail press SPKR or lift the handset, press 47
2. When the system answers, press pound (#)
3. Press the star key (*)
4. Press the supervisor password (default is 9999)
5. Press 4 for system prompts
6. Press 2 for company greetings
7. Enter the three digit greeting number you wish to work with (900 is the main
greeting)
8. Press 3 to record your new greeting
9. Press # when you are finished recording (this will save your new main greeting)
10. Press 2 to listen
11. Press 1 to accept
12. Press # three times or hang up
Sample: Thank you for calling ________________company. If you know your party's
extension number, you may dial it at any time. To use our company directory
press 1, to reach the operator press 0, or stay on the line.
Tips: Digits 1,3,4-9 may be used for direction to extensions, mailboxes,
or hunt
groups based on customer needs. The digit 2 is reserved for "If you know
your
party's extension..."

How to Change a Mailbox Pass Code

(Must be done on the computer)
1. Go to main menu on ESNA (Telephony Office-Linx window)
2. Choose File, then Log On
3. Enter Password 12345
4. Choose OK
5. Choose Mailbox on the toolbar, then Edit
6. Choose Edit, then GoTo
7. Type in the desired mailbox
8. Choose OK
9. Enter new password (we suggest extension number as a default)
10. Choose Save
11. Choose Exit
12. Minimize screen

Change Time and Date

To Change Date:
1. Go to main menu on ESNA (Telephony Office-Linx window)
2. Choose System on the tool bar, then Commands
3. Enter current date
4. Example: Date 02-28-2000 The date will be set to February 28,
2000
5. Press Execute
6. Choose Exit
7. Minimize screen
To Change Time:
1. Go to main menu on ESNA (Telephony Office-Linx window)
2. Choose System on the tool bar, then Commands
3. Enter current time
4. Example: Time 13:45 The time will be set to 1:45 PM
5. Press Execute
6. Choose Exit
7. Minimize screen

Create A Distribution List

Press SPKR

Press your extension number
Press your password
Press 4 for Mailbox Options
Press 5 for Distribution List Maintenance
Press 2 to add a list
Enter the list number (start with 1)
Record the list name
Press 1 to accept, 2 to re-record
Press 1 to add members
Enter all of the extension numbers you want in the group
Hang up
To Send A Message To A Distribution List
Press SPKR
Press 47
Press #
Press you extension number
Press your password
Press 3 for Send A Message
Press * then the list number
Record your message
Press 1 to send standard, 2 to send certified
Press 1 to send normal, 2 to send urgent
Hang up

Individual Mailbox Initial Set Up Tutorial
Setting up your ESNA voice mail box is pretty simple with just a few tips to
start out with.

- To access voiemail, press "SPKR" or lif the handset. Press "47".
- Press "#" when the voice mail picks up.
- Press your mailbox number.
- Press your password (default is "1111")
- Enter your new password.
- Record your personal greeting.
- Press "#" to stop recording.
- Record your "busy" prompt.
- Press "#" to stop recording.
- Record your "gone home for the day prompt".
- Press "#" to stop recording
- Record your name prompt.
- Press "#" to stop recording.
- Enter the first 3 letters of your last name.
- Press "#" to hang up.
Example Greeting:
"Hi, you have reached (First and Last Names) at extension________. Please
leave your name and number and I will get back to you as soon as possible. If
you would like to speak to the operator, press "0". Thank you for
calling.
If you would like to change any of the messages you recorded:
- Press "SPKR" or pick up the handset and press "47" to
access voice mail.
- Press "#" when voice mail picks up.
- Enter your mailbox number.
- Enter your password.
- Press "4" for mailbox options.
- Press "1" to record prompts.
- Press "1" for personal greeting.
- Press "2" for busy prompt.
- Press "3" for "gone home" prompt.
- Press "4" for name prompt.
- Press "5" for optional greetings (01 through 99).
- Press "6" to select active greeting.
You may have up to 99 different greetings, "01" through "99".
Please refer to your user guide for more information.
To retrieve messages from outside the office, dial in and get the main greeting,
or ask the operator to transfer you to extension "47", prss the "#"
key. At the message prompt, enter your extension number and password.
