What is Bluetooth?
Simple start-up procedure for the Plantronics Voyager Bluetooth Headset:
- Charge your new headset for at least 1 hour. Headset is fully charged in
3
 hours.
There are 3 options for charging your phone.
Please Note: Components snap together and apart. Never twist to connect
or disconnect. The headset status indicator glows read during charging and turns
off when fully charged.
Method 1 - Included AC adapter (Figure 1):
- Plug the AC adapter into the base of the headset carrying pocket and connect
to the outlet.
- Insert the headset into the headset carrying pocket.

2 - Using the AC adapter from your cell phone (Figure 2):
- Choose an adapter and connect it to the base of the headset carrying pocket.
- Plug the AC power adapter for your phone into the charging adapter and connect
the AC adapter to the outlet.
- Insert the headset into the headset carrying pocket.

3 - Using the AAA battery (Figure 3):
- Twist the bottom of the battery charger counter-clockwise and release the
battery holder.
- Insert the battery into the battery holder.
- Reinsert the battery holder into the battery charger and turn clockwise.
- Snap battery charger to headset carrying pocket.
- Insert the headset into the headset carrying pocket.
Pairing Guide:
You must pair your headset with your Bluetooth device, such as your mobile
phone. First, make sure your headset is fully charged and your Bluetooth wireless
connection is enabled on your cell phone or other device.
- Look through the menu on your phone until the phone displays a "Look
for Devices" option (or similar)
- With headset powered off, hold the call control button down until the status
indicator glows blue, then flashes red and blue. You have 30 seconds to complete
the pairing.
- On your phone, select the "Look for Devices" option.
- The phone shows the scan results. Select "640 Plantronics".
- When phone prompts you for a passkey, type "0000" and hit enter.
Pairing is complete.
