Phone Setup
Change Ring Tone:
- Select Program
- Press the Scroll Down key
- Select Ringing Options and select a new ring tone.
Change Display Contrast:
- Select Program
- Press the Scroll Down key
- Select Contrast Options and select a new ring tone.
Answering Calls
Answer a Call:
- Pick up the handset or
- Select "Answer the Call" and/or pick up the handset.
Hands-free Answer:
- Select "Answer the Call" or press the
speaker key.
Making Calls
Place an Outside call:
- Lift handset
- Press the line key or dial "9" and then the number.
Place an Internal Call:
- Select "Internal Call"
- Select "Extension" or
- Dial the extension number
- Pick up the handset or press the
speaker
button.
Transfer Calls
Transfer a Call to an Internal Extension:
- Select "Internal Transfer"
- Select the extension
- Press "Transfer" when the call is answered.
Transfer a Call to an External Number:
- Select "External Transfer"
- Select an available line
- Dial the number
- Press "Transfer" when the call is answered.
Re-Direct a Call Ringing at Your Extension:
- Select "Re-Direct the Call"
- Select Extension
Send a Call Ringing on Your Extension to Voice Mail:
- Select "Forward to Voice Mail"
Forward Calls
Forward All Calls:
- Press the scroll down dial until "Forward" is displayed
- Select "Forward"
- Select "Forward All Calls"
- Dial the internal extension number or
- Dial 9 and the external number and press "Confirm" or
- Press "Forward to Voice Mail"
Cancel:
- Press "Cancel Forwarding"
Forward Calls when Your Extension is Busy:
- Press the Scroll down dial until "Forward" is displayed
- Select "Forward"
- Select "Forward When Busy"
- Dial the extension to receive the calls or
- Dial 9 and the external number, then press "Confirm", or
- Press "Forward to Voice Mail"
Cancel:
- Press the Scroll down dial until "Forward" is displayed
- Select "Forward"
- Select "Forward When Busy"
Forward Unanswered Calls (Calls not answered after 4 rings):
- Press the Scroll down dial until "Forward" is displayed
- Select "Forward"
- Choose "Forward On No Answer"
- Dial the extension number to receive
the calls or
- Dial 9 and the external number, then press "Confirm", or
- Press "Forward to Voice Mail"
Cancel:
- Press the Scroll down dial until "Forward" is displayed
- Select "Forward"
- Choose "Forward On No Answer"
Forward Calls from a Group:
- Press the Scroll down key to "Group Forward" and select
- Choose the group to be forwarded
- Select "Forward all calls"
- Dial the extension to receive the calls or
- Dial 9 and the external number, then press "Confirm", or
- Press "Forward to Voice Mail"
Cancel:
- Select "Cancel Group Forward"
- Select the group
Forward Calls When the Group is Busy:
- Press the Scroll down key to "Group Forward" and select
- Choose the group to be forwarded
- Select "Forward When Busy"
- Dial the extension to receive the calls or
- Dial 9 and the external number, then press "Confirm", or
- Press "Forward to Voice Mail"
Cancel:
- Press the Scroll down key until "Group Forward" is displayed
- Select "Group Forward"
- Select the group
- Choose "Forward When Busy".
Forward Calls on Group No Answer (after 4 rings):
- Press the scroll down key to "Group Forward", select
- Select the group to be forwarded
- Select "Forward on no answer"
- Dial the extension to receive the calls or
- Dial 9 and the external number, then press "Confirm", or
- Press "Forward to Voice Mail"
Cancel:
- Press the Scroll down key to "Group Forward" and select
Voice Mail Setup and Operation
Record Personal Greeting:
- Press the
button
- Select "Voice Messaging"
- Enter your extension number
- Enter your Voice Mail password - default is "1111" followed by
"#"
- Select "Greetings" and follow the text and voice prompts.
Listen to Messages:
- Choose "New Voice Messages"
- Enter your extension
- At the prompt, enter your password followed by "#" and
- Select "Play"
Change Your Password:
- Press the
button
- Select "Voice Messaging"
- Enter your extension number and password, followed by "#"
- Press the Scroll down key
- Select "Change Password"
- Enter your new password (up to 8 digits long)
- Select "Confirm"
Station Speed Dial
Program Speed Dial Entries:
- Press
(directory)
- Select "Personal Entries"
- Select the index to program and enter the number
- Select "Confirm"
- At the prompt, use dial pad keys to enter letters. Wait 2 seconds between
characters. Repeat for up to 10 characters.
- When finished, select "Confirm"
- Press the
speaker
button to finish.
- Dial a Station Speed Dial Number
- Press

- Select "Personal Speed Dial"
- Select the desired location.
System Speed Dial
Program Speed Dial Entries:
- Press

- Press the Scroll down dial
- Select "System Entries"
- Enter the Speed-Dial password (default is "0000")
- Enter the number of the index you want to program
- Select "Confirm"
- At the prompt, use dial pad keys to enter letters. Wait 2 seconds between
characters. Repeat for up to 10 characters.
- When finished, select "Confirm"
- Press the
speaker
button to finish
Dial a System Speed Dial Number:
- Press

- Select "System Speed Dial"
- Enter the first letter of the name or scroll through the list.
- Select the desired entry.
